I’m a senior undergraduate at Marist College, majoring in English and minoring in Spanish and women’s studies. I write a sexual health column in my school’s newspaper, The Circle, and I’m working on co-writing a book about Lady Gaga and female sexual fluidity in modern American women ages 18 to 30. In my spare time, I like to read graphic novels and feminist works, do extracurricular feminist research, volunteer at a domestic violence shelter, watch “The Rachel Maddow Show,” hang out with my mom, and roll around with Lucy the cat. Some of my dreams are to get into one of the women’s studies graduate programs I’ve scoped out for myself, meet Tina Turner, live in a country that fully supports Planned Parenthood, and live to see the price of a loaf of gluten-free bread drop to $2.00.
